Orange Koral Cayenne is a vibrant orange variant of the traditional Cayenne chilli, bred in Poland for colour and productivity while retaining that unmistakable Cayenne flavour and punch. It’s a stunning and useful variety — decorative in the garden yet perfect for drying, sauces, or fresh use.
Pods are long and slender, 10–12 cm in length, ripening from green to a glowing orange coral tone. The flesh is thin, slightly glossy, and full of aromatic heat around 30,000–50,000 SHU. The flavour is bright, slightly citrusy, and tangy, ideal for hot sauces, chilli flakes, or drying whole.
Plants are upright and high-yielding (60–80 cm tall), producing heavy crops throughout the summer. It’s a hardy and dependable plant, suitable for pots, beds, or greenhouse growing, performing well even in cooler conditions.
Seeds germinate best at 26–30 °C, sprouting within 10–21 days. Plants mature in roughly 90–100 days, producing consistently from mid to late summer.
