Description
Chilli Name : MADBALLZ CHOCOLATE
Chilli Species : Chinense
Chilli Origin : USA
Chilli Heat : Superhot
Madballz Chocolate is a brutal superhot chilli developed in the USA, believed to be a cross involving 7 Pot Brown and Chocolate Bhut Jolokia (Ghost Pepper) lines. It combines the wrinkled, stinger-tipped look of Trinidad types with the deep, earthy tones of chocolate pods — creating one of the most intense and flavourful brown superhots around.
Pods are heavily wrinkled and irregular, 5–6 cm long, ripening from dark green to deep chocolate brown. The flavour is rich, smoky, and slightly fruity, followed by a ferocious burn that can exceed 1,000,000 SHU. Like other chocolate superhots, the heat builds slowly and deeply, lasting several minutes, making it ideal for sauces, powders, or extreme heat challenges.
Plants are tall and vigorous (90–120 cm), with broad leaves and heavy yields once mature. The dark pods contrast beautifully against the green foliage, giving a dramatic look while warning of what’s to come.
Seeds germinate best at 28–30 °C, sprouting within 10–21 days. Plants mature in around 110–120 days, performing best under protection in warm, bright conditions.
