Chilli Origin : USA
Chilli Heat : Mild
Jalapeño Mini is a compact, small-podded jalapeño variety bred for ornamental looks and bite-sized flavour. It offers the same great jalapeño taste in a smaller, snack-friendly form — ideal for pickling whole, stuffing, or slicing into fresh salads.
Pods are short and thick, around 4–5 cm long, with a smooth glossy finish. They ripen from rich green to bright red, offering a full flavour spectrum from crisp and grassy to sweet and tangy. Heat is medium, typically 6,000–8,000 SHU, giving a lively kick without overpowering the palate.
Plants are compact and bushy (40–60 cm tall), producing a dense canopy of small pods that mature evenly. Their tidy shape and heavy cropping make them a great choice for containers, patios, or small garden spaces.
Seeds germinate best at 28–30 °C, sprouting within 10–21 days. Plants mature in around 85–95 days, offering a steady supply of pods across the summer.
