Coyote Zan White is an uncommon Brazilian heirloom variety prized for its compact growth and luminous white pods. Despite its ornamental beauty, this chilli is far more than a showpiece, producing fruit with excellent flavour and a satisfying level of heat. It’s a perfect choice for indoor growing, patio pots, or bonsai chilli (bonchi) projects.
The pods are elongated and slightly tear-shaped, starting light green before ripening through creamy tones to a brilliant, almost glowing white. Their smooth skin and small size make them both attractive and easy to harvest.
Flavour is strikingly fruity and floral with a pleasant, lingering burn. The heat level sits firmly in the Very Hot range, delivering warmth and flavour in equal measure. When dried and powdered, Coyote Zan White produces a bright, aromatic chilli powder noted for its complex taste and versatility in cooking.
The plants are extremely compact yet prolific, producing large numbers of pods across the season. They thrive indoors or in sheltered outdoor positions with good light, rewarding growers with both yield and ornamental appeal.
