Description

Chilli Name : ROXI
Chilli Species : Annuum
Chilli Origin : Poland
Chilli Heat : Sweet (No Heat)

Roxi is a Polish-bred sweet pepper (Capsicum annuum) known for its early maturity, compact growth, and crisp, juicy pods. It was developed to perform well in cooler climates, producing reliable harvests even in shorter northern summers. Despite its smaller stature, Roxi delivers an impressive crop of vibrant, thick-fleshed fruit.

Pods are short and blocky, around 10–12 cm long, ripening from green to deep red. The flesh is thick, sweet, and crunchy, with excellent flavour whether eaten fresh, grilled, or stuffed. It’s a true sweet pepper — no heat at all — making it ideal for families, market growers, and anyone looking for reliable, colourful yields.

Plants are compact and bushy (50–70 cm tall), suited to pots, raised beds, or greenhouses. Roxi’s combination of early cropping and disease resistance makes it a popular choice among home gardeners across Central and Eastern Europe.

Seeds germinate best at 25–30 °C, sprouting in 10–14 days. Plants mature in about 70–80 days, often among the earliest peppers to ripen outdoors in the UK climate.
