Description

Chilli Name : NAGA CREAM
Chilli Species : Chinense
Chilli Origin : India
Chilli Heat : Superhot

Naga Cream is a rare pale-coloured variant of the famous Naga family of chillies, believed to have developed from selective breeding of Bhut Jolokia and Naga Morich types. It combines the unmistakable Naga flavour and ferocious heat with an unusual creamy ivory-to-peach colour, making it a true collector’s variety for serious growers.

Pods are elongated and deeply wrinkled, around 5–7 cm long, ripening from pale green to creamy off-white or soft apricot tones depending on growing conditions. The flavour is sweet, slightly floral, and complex, with the same slow-building, devastating burn typical of all Nagas — often exceeding 1,000,000 SHU. The pale colour adds visual appeal to superhot sauces, powders, or fresh chilli displays, standing out among the darker pods.

Plants are tall and productive (90–120 cm), branching well and producing heavy yields under warm, stable conditions. They perform best in greenhouses or tunnels in temperate climates, where humidity and warmth allow full colour development.

Seeds germinate best at 28–30 °C, sprouting in 10–21 days. Plants mature in around 110–120 days and fruit steadily through the summer.
