Description
Chilli Name : MINI RED BELL PEPPER
Chilli Species : Annuum
Chilli Origin : USA
Chilli Heat : Sweet (No Heat)
Mini Red Bell Pepper is a compact, early-maturing sweet pepper that delivers all the flavour of a full-sized bell in a smaller, easier-to-grow package. It’s one of the best miniature bells for snacking, stuffing, or container growing, producing bright red pods packed with crisp, juicy sweetness.
Pods are short and blocky, around 5–6 cm wide, ripening from green to glossy red. The flavour is sweet, fruity, and mild, with no heat at all — perfect for children’s snacks, salads, or roasted vegetable dishes. Despite their size, the thick flesh gives a satisfying crunch and holds up well when cooked or grilled.
Plants are compact and bushy (40–60 cm tall), producing generous crops of pods through summer. The variety thrives in pots or borders, preferring sunny, sheltered spots or greenhouse conditions for best yields.
Seeds germinate best at 26–30 °C, sprouting within 10–21 days. Plants mature in about 80–90 days, cropping heavily through late summer and early autumn.
