Description
Chilli Name : HABANERO PEACH
Chilli Species : Chinense
Chilli Origin : USA (developed from Caribbean habanero strains)
Chilli Heat : Very Hot
Habanero Peach is a modern habanero variety developed from Caribbean chinense lines and selected in the USA for its soft pastel colour and smooth, fruity flavour. It offers the same trademark habanero fire with a slightly gentler edge and exceptional aroma.
Pods are lantern-shaped, smooth and glossy, ripening from green to delicate peach-orange. Heat is very hot, typically around 250,000–350,000 SHU, but balanced by a bright tropical sweetness that works brilliantly in fruit-based sauces, chutneys, and salsas.
Plants are medium-sized (70–90 cm), branching freely and producing abundant crops across the summer.
Seeds germinate best at 28–30 °C, sprouting in 10–21 days. Plants mature in about 100 days, thriving in warm, sunny conditions or under glass in cooler climates.
