The Treasures Red Hybrid is a compact ornamental Capsicum annuum developed as part of the “Treasures” series, bred for decorative appeal and container growing. It is a commercial hybrid selected for uniform growth, fruit set, and strong visual impact.
Pods are small, upright, and conical, produced in clusters above the foliage. They ripen from green to bright red, creating a vivid contrast on the plant. Fruits are firm with relatively thin walls and are well suited to ornamental display.
Flavour is mildly pungent with light heat, typically within the 1,000–5,000 SHU range, placing it in the Mild category. While edible, it is primarily grown for ornamental use rather than culinary depth.
