The town of Soverato took this chance to increase the revenue from tourism, and now you can find all kinds of ½peperoncino di Soverato½ with different shapes, heat, colors etc. In conclusion, we cannot say it is a variety yet, but the name ½peperoncino di Soverato½ has to be intended as a generic name indicating all the peppers grown in the Soverato region.
