A classic wax type Italian pepper that is slightly wrinkled with a fine flavour for eating fresh or pickled. Pepperoncini plants produces abundant yields of long yellow-green 4in fruit which mature to red approximately 62-72 days after transplanting. Sometimes listed as a sweet pepper the fruit smell spicy but have a sweet, rich taste with mild heat and are either pickled or preserved in oil.
