Jalapeño Talon is a Capsicum annuum jalapeño cultivar developed primarily for the U.S. and Canadian markets. It matures in approximately 75–80 days, producing cylindrical fruits around 10 × 4 cm in size that ripen from dark green to red. With a moderate heat level of about 3,500–6,000 SHU and improved tolerance to cracking and anthocyanin development, Talon is also resistant to multiple strains of bacterial leaf spot (BLS‑1, BLS‑2, BLS‑3). The plant is vigorous and well-suited to fresh markets and processing.
