Chilli Species : Chinense
Chilli Origin : Finland (Jukka “Fatalii” Kilpinen)
Chilli Heat : Superhot
The Fatalii Gourmet Jigsaw is a modern Finnish-bred superhot, created by Jukka Kilpinen (known worldwide as Fatalii). It is part of his Fatalii Gourmet line, developed to combine extreme heat with distinctive pod shapes and strong flavours.
Pods are medium to large, heavily wrinkled and blocky, often with twisted forms that resemble a jigsaw piece — the source of its name. They ripen from green to a deep, rich red. Heat is superhot, in the same class as Carolina Reaper and Trinidad Scorpion, delivering an intense, lingering burn. Flavour is fruity with floral notes, though often overshadowed by the sheer heat.
Plants are vigorous and tall (90–120 cm), branching strongly and producing heavy crops of gnarly pods through the season.
Seeds germinate best at 28–30 °C, sprouting in 10–21 days. Plants usually take 110–120 days to reach maturity, cropping heavily under protection in cooler climates.
