Species Annuum Origin Unknown Heat Medium This is believed to be one of the larger varieties of Jalapeno. Plants are said to grow 60cm high and bears bullet shaped fruits up to 7.5cm long. It can be harvested green or allowed to mature to red. The fruits develop a characteristic "corking", a pattern of crack markings on the skin as it reaches full size. Heat level is around 6000-8000 scoville units.
