Habanero White Giant is a rare Mexican habanero strain, producing unusually large creamy-white pods with classic habanero flavour and a fierce, lingering burn. It’s a striking variety, sought after by collectors and growers looking for something out of the ordinary in both appearance and performance.
Pods are lantern-shaped but broader than typical white habaneros, ripening from light green to ivory-white. Heat is very hot, usually 300,000–400,000 SHU, with a crisp, fruity flavour and clean, fast-building burn. The thick walls and size make it ideal for sauces or fresh slicing.
Plants are medium-tall (70–90 cm), vigorous and high yielding, producing clusters of large pods throughout the summer.
Seeds germinate best at 28–30 °C, sprouting in 10–21 days. Plants take around 100–110 days to mature and crop well in warm, sunny or protected conditions.
