Potting Chilli Seedlings

You have germinated chilli seeds or bought plug chilli seedlings from us, now what?

Get a 7cm - 9cm Pot with holes at the bottom and a saucer - preferably the right size & A Jug of Water - Please see our section on watering for best results here

Seedling Plants & Fresh Compost - Please see our section on Soil for best results

Take the First Seedling and get your pot  and Soil ready.  If the seedling plug is not wet.  Place in water for a few seconds to wet through

Fill Pot with Soil Quarter full

Place Seedling in the Centre

Fill Soil in pot and push down on top - leave a cm at top

Finish with Name Tag

Once the seedling is in the pot fill saucer with water and place in a warm sunny place - not direct sunlight yet, just sunny and warm

There is no need to add nutrients at this stage; there is enough goodness in the plug and fresh compost for the seedling to feed on
